Two Days In Monte Coglians

“I wish, as well as everybody else, to be perfectly happy;
but, like everybody else, it must be in my own way.” Jane Austen

I'm not a master of it, but just sometimes I can see that way so clearly. This was that time.

'Coglians is a mountain in the Carnic Alps, at the border between Italy(province of Udine) and Austria (Carinthia), west to the Monte Croce Carnico pass (Plöcken Pass). With its elevation of 2,780 m (9,121 ft), it is the highest
peak of Friuli-Venezia Giulia region of Italy and of the Carnic and Gailtal Alps.'

My days in Italy started here, in a shelter Marinelli, blessed with the long walks, horn wake-up calls, the sweetest muscle pain, 2013 annual meeting of nature lovers, grilled polenta and newly discovered frico, laugh,
and than more laugh again.

My beautiful Monica and Luigi, and all the people I have met and who take care of Marinelli, Caterina, Marco, Malika, Giuliano, Gopal, with their warmth, kindness and positive spirit made my stay absolutely wonderful.

Moments and people like these are my happiness now and my store of happiness. For all the future hard times.
To beat them down.

A Sweet Affair

The recipe is from the great food blog I've found recently, Petite Kitchen. It's made with no sugar
and no flour, only bananas, peanut butter, almonds, honey and eggs.
And just, I'm in 'happily ever after' love with the blog. It brings some charming and inspiring
atmosphere being a very nice place for those who appreciate healthy, tasty and natural food.

Simplicity

July is getting into the spirit of Ramadan and the days are turning more serene and meaningful.
In the simplicity of its beauty, and while turning inward, it's getting easier to let the worries
and grievances go, to slow down, focus on emotional growth and on the things that really matter:
goodness, generosity and empathy, on all that is truly beautiful inside, between and around us.

Just

'Happiness. It comes on
unexpectedly. And goes beyond, really,
any early morning talk about it.'

The pictures of hydrangeas I bought this morning from a woman who was selling them on a bridge.

The easy hour

'The summer wind, came blowin’ in - from across the sea
It lingered there, so warm and fair - to walk with me...'

Being bored and getting lost in the easy hours, I don't underrate them any more. Sometimes, that
is the only thing that I want. Summer gardens, high grass, lakeshores, no-goal afternoons, being
pathetic, sky, stars, love.

Last night was one of those nights. We celebrated Juliet's birthday, having drinks, eating cakes,
telling jokes. Meeting the night as it goes silent.
